How do I create a sprite sheet and save it without losing color information?
I’m using a pre-existing sprite and I’m editing it to have different poses and other sprites. I’m going to save it eventually, but how do I save it so that it looks the same afterward?
Do you have a palette with your sprite? Only select colors which are already on the figure. If there is a palette with it (as in a PCX file) then you can salvage and use it (there are tutorials for most paint programs but you don’t say which one you are using). If not you will have to select the colors ONLY from the figure you are drawing.
